I do not do this kind of testing myself because I am not a systems trader. Insight Trader can only test systems that you can define in terms of the indicators in the software. You cannot write your own formulas.

I believe that MetaStock and SuperCharts have some capability in this area, but Trade Station is the Rolls Royce product and should probably be the choice for serious systems traders.
