Where on the Internet can I source net tangible assets (NTA) figures for stocks?

If you are a subscriber to the Australian Financial Review site, you can download a spreadsheet of the shares tables as printed in the newspaper. This has NTA per share for all industrial companies on the ASX.

http://profiles.wisi.com has Book Value per share, which is the Net Assets including intangibles. It also has a price to book ratio, which is the usual way the data is used.

http://investor.ninemsn.com.au/Shares/shares.asp also has book value.

I am not aware of a free web site that has NTA per share.

Be careful during the reporting season. All sources take time to catch up with profit reports. Just because a report is in the editorial section of a newspaper does not mean the tables have been updated. It can take days or longer when things are busy.
